Austin Reaves’s NBA story is an intriguing one that started in 2021 when he was undrafted in the NBA draft. That didn’t stop the small forward from pursuing his dreams of entering the NBA, and he would eventually sign a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers in August. About a month later, he would sign a standard NBA contract in September. He eventually became a starter, playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. With all the accomplishments he has gained over the past several years, you can add one more to the list. Austin Reaves will have his own signature shoe with Rigorer.
First reported by Nick DePaula, Austin Reaves will have his own signature shoe with Chinese sports equipment brand, Rigorer, who signed with the brand last year. His upcoming shoe will be known as the Rigorer AR1, and a mock-up of his shoe has leaked, dawning the Lakers colors. Using Black on the base, both Yellow and Purple accents run throughout, and the brands’ logo is seen on the lateral side. Austin’s logo is placed on the heels, with White running on the rubber sole to finish the look.
Although release details have yet to be announced, August Reaves Rigorer AR1, in a slew of colorways, will be released in the Summer of 2023. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
