Previewed just a few weeks ago, today welcomes an unofficial unveiling and release date information for the upcoming BAIT x Asics Gel Lyte III “Basics Model-002 Guardian”.
An extension of last month’s “Vanquish” release, the “Guardian” has been conceptualized and designed to withstand “the harsh conditions of a dystopian world”, i.e. a society of oppression. Not only will this Asics Gel Lyte III model offer rugged suede and reinforced metal wire mesh uppers, BAIT will work in waxed laces, 3M hexagonal print detailing, black suede overlays, speckled midsoles, and hints of orange throughout for a perfect finish. Quite frankly the “Basics Model-002 Guardian” is arguably one of the best concepts seen thus far atop a Gel Lyte. No?
