Bode x Nike Astro Grabber Pack Releases April 2024

Bode and Nike will connect to release two colorways of the Bode x Nike Astro Grabber. For the first time, the Astro Grabber will be re-released and debut in Spring 2024 for a retail price of $160. Arriving in “Black” and “Natural,” a release will occur on April 18, 2024, via Bode, and May 1, 2024, via Nike.

High-end fashion brand Bode, known for household products like lace tablecloths and quilts, will collaborate with Nike for a footwear and apparel collection in 2024. Known as the Bode x Nike collection, for the first time, we will see the re-release of the Nike Astro Grabber, a shoe that was originally released in the 1970s. 

The Nike Astro Grabber was originally launched in the 1970s and is one of the brand’s earliest sneakers. Designed specifically for playing on the astroturf, the shoes were worn by NFL Hall of Famer Dan Fouts. He had given Nike feedback on the development of the Astro Grabber and was one of Nike’s earliest endorsers.

Since its initial debut, we have not seen a retro of the Nike Astro Grabber until 2024. However, Jordan Brand did launch an Air Jordan 1 Low in 2020 that resembled the original Astro Grabber.

This Astro Grabber by Bode comes dressed in a Black and Coconut Milk color combination. Furthermore, a second color option is scheduled to be released. Highlighted with Black leather on the upper and Coconut Milk details on the Swoosh logos, tongue label, laces, and liner. Across the tongue label is Bode’s retro-inspired branding, and it comes with a Bronze lace jewel. Lastly, the shoes come with a Black waffle rubber outsole.

The second pair features a Natural, Black, and Light Cream color scheme. Highlighted with woven mesh across the upper that’s dipped in Natural. In addition, we have Black on the Swoosh logos and tongue branding, while Blue adorns the liner. Each comes with co-branding on the tongues and insoles and will have special packaging.

Bode Nike Astro Grabber 2024 Release Date

The Bode x Nike Astro Grabber in two colorways and matching apparel will be released at Bode on April 18th. A wider launch via Nike.com will occur on May 1st, 2024. The retail price is $160 each.
