Bodega, a boutique based out of Boston has connected with Vans to release a special Authentic model that is inspired by VHS tapes.
Paying tribute to the blank VHS tapes that were popular during the 80s, 90s and some of the early 2000s. This Vans Authentic features suede and nylon across the upper, VHS cassette labeling is also used while a transparent tongue is a nod to the cassettes magnetic tape spool. In addition we have more VHS labeling on the midsole while the outsole features RGB colors. An extra detail for VHS connoisseurs is provided by the footbed, which sports a holographic Bodega print, in the style of anti-pirating security stickers.
Also each pair comes with special packaging that resembles a blank VHS case. Along with the shoes, there will be matching apparel.
