No doubt Michigan’s-own Joe Louis was one of the greatest all time in his professional boxing career, enough so that Detroit sneaker company, Burn Rubber, decided to honor the legend in their own way. Burn Rubber teamed up with New Balance and their 577 model to create the “Joe Louis” edition that is navy around the toebox and the rest of the front half of the shoe. Moving towards the back, we have a brown New Balance logo and heel with the tongue and laces tonal to where they sit on the sneakers. Hints of off-white take place on the upper and the entire midsole while everything sits on a rigid gum bottom. These will available at Burn Rubber this weekend, November 16th!
