A first look at this year’s Nike SB quickstrikes comes in the form of the Chuck Treese x Nike SB Dunk Hi, a Nike SB Dunk Hi that takes inspiration from and pays homage to Chuck Treese, the first black skateboarder featured on the cover of “Thrasher” magazine.
As Black History Month rolls around next month, Nike SB couldn’t have brought forth a better concept, one that also takes inspiration from Treese’s album cover. Moreover, this Nike SB comes decked out in a full-suede upper with black, green, white, and red accents throughout. Accompanied by a yellow Swoosh, these kicks sport an embroidered “84” that coincides with the year Chuck was featured on the cover of the magazine, plus other details like metallic green piping, a zig-zag design at the back heel, and a white outsole to complete the look.
Scheduled to release sometime in Februray as a quickstrike at select Nike SB dealers, stay with Sneaker Files for more info.
