The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is such a classic sneaker design that it often times is used as the base for a project that entails only a little tweaking. In 2009 we saw it get “padded collar” treatment; and, two months removed from ringing in 2012, the brand plays around with the collar once again. Pictured here is the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Collar Break,” nicknamed as such because of the black leather ankle collar that is discreetly set apart from the rest of the shoe by subtle stitching.
