With a mixture of synthetics and patent leather uppers strength and durability are key aspects of the Defcon. A perforated midfoot cage wraps the foot and keeps it in place along with the additional heel counter. Full length Phylon makes its way onto the midsole while EVA foam lining and CBT (Converse Balls Tech) gives you that great impact protection and energy return.
