Converse is celebrating three African Americans that broke the NBA color barrier in 1950 with their new Breaking Down Barriers collection.
This Converse Pro Leather pays tribute to Chuck Cooper, Nat Clifton and Earl Lloyd who all played for the Pistons organization at one point of their careers.
Looking closer this pair comes highlighted with White leather across the upper along with shades inspired by the Fort Wayne Pistons, now known as Detroit. Following we have a satin Star Chevron embroidered logo, NBA Hardwood Classics logo on the collar along with a old school Pistons logo on the inside of the tongue. Other details includes the team colors running down the heel and branding on the panels.
