Earlier today, Nike unveiled the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0 which is an upcoming model to use a Power Lacing system. Designed by Tiffany Beers and Tinker Hatfield, many of us wondered how they work and what it looks like. It didn’t take long for a Nike athlete to get their hands on them.
Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be the first person to test out the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0, has he recently shared a video of him trying them out on Twitter.
As soon as Ronaldo puts his foot into them and touches the floor, you hear a loud noise which appears to be the shoes powering down as well as a Blue light shining under. Since they will be controlled by the individual, they will not automatically lace and probably will be controlled by a button or mechanism.
Below is the 15 second video of Cristiano Ronaldo trying out the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0. To read more in-depth, you can also see our previous article on the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0.
