adidas Originals has another collaboration coming this month, this time connecting with American artist Daniel Arsham. The two will offer us a creative and limited adidas New York.
Overall, the adidas New York stays true to the 80s release while having a few modern upgrades. Featuring a rugged construction while having ties back to some of his past work. For example we have a phone number on the leather heel which pays tribute to his work with adidas in the past. In addition we have invisible print on the midsole which reads “THE PAST IS PRESENT” that can be read via an Ultra Violet light. The last touch is the stitching which is UV active.
