Anderson Bluu, self-taught graphic artist, and Founder of Bluu Dreams Creative Agency announces his third partnership with Foot Locker, Inc. to design two limited edition shoes as part of the “Anderson Bluu Wine Collection” for Diadora.
The ‘Anderson Bluu Wine Collection’ marks Anderson’s fourth and fifth sneaker release with Foot Locker, Inc. and first partnership with Footaction. The Collection features two exclusive sneaker designs: the Diadora N9002 “Cabernet” and Maverick “Chardonnay,” both designed to pay homage to Diadora’s Italian heritage and sneaker culture.
The Diadora N9002 ‘Cabernet’ is inspired by the Navy-hued grape skin used to produce red wine and features a Blue colorway. The Anderson Bluu logo appears on the left sneaker exterior, a nod to
the artist being “lefty.” A distressed suede material is used to create a textured look around the shoe edge, giving away the rustic feel of a wine vineyard.
The Diadora Maverick ‘Chardonnay’ unisex sneaker is influenced by the Green grape skin used to produce White wine and features a Green colorway. An enlarged grape logo appears on the interior heels, with the word “Chardonnay” apparent on the exterior side.
Both sneaker insoles feature a cork-inspired sock liner with the Anderson Bluu logo to truly drive the wine theme home. The collection comes complete with a shoebox that mirrors a wine barrel.
