What has also helped is the amount of collaborations we have seen. Adding to the list, Masayuki Ino’s Doublet brand will debut its own ASICS Gel-Kayano 20.
Doublet has opted for a look that pays homage to its brand. This ASICS Gel-Kayano 20 features materials and colors that resemble cardboard, similar to its shoebox packaging. In addition, the shoes feature Tyvek, a durable material like cardboard whose look changes as they age. They also have a weave-like pattern on the panels, another nod to cardboard. On the toe box is an area of Blue with Doublet branding, a nod to the tape used for packages.
