Three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and Six-time All-Star Dwight Howard is quite the character on and off the court, and with the debut of his latest signature it’s hard not to like the sneakers or the player for that matter. For the second half of the season he’ll lace up in the all new adidas adiPower Howard 2.
The adiPower Howard 2 is built with the power and explosiveness to match Dwight’s game. As it’s the lightest Howard signature shoe to date, it features the ALIVE cushioning system for optimum comfort and support during explosive play. There’s no doubt about what this shoe can’t do for any big man while down in the paint. Other notable details include a shattered glass graphic along the upper to resemble Dwight’s ability to slam it home during games, a back heel signature, Howard’s uniform number on the medial side, and a Superman inspired tongue featuring his “dh” logo.
Check out Dwight Howard in his latest sneaker review and find out more about the adiPower Howard 2 at the adidas facebook page and stay tuned as it officially releases Foot Locker, Eastbay, and at shopadidas.com on February 9th at a retail price of $100 USD.
