New Balance has reached out once again to a MLB player, this time asking for assistance from Evan Longoria the third baseman for the Tampa Bay Rays. The two have connected on the New Balance 530.
Back in 2013 New Balance and Burn Rubber came together to design a pair known as ‘The Miggy’ which was for Miguel Cabrera and used the 574. For Evan Longoria’s New Balance 530, they feature a black upper with a white midsole and grey. On the surface, it doesn’t look like much went into the collaboration but that would be incorrect. Materials used make it special, besides of course who designed them. Utilizing a pigskin suede and denim, speckled midsole and his number 3 on the lace locks.
Select New Balance retailers will have the Evan Longoria x New Balance 530 on May 30th, 2015 and will retail for $160.
