To cap off a huge day for Nike and the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the sportswear giant hosted a “Back For The Future” event at The Montalban in Hollywood. Â Tinker Hatfield was on hand to introduce the Nike MAGÂ and to articulate the importance of the project to those media members and industry insiders in the audience.
Christopher Lloyd was also on hand and The Montalban was decked out with “Back For The Future” posters and various memorabilia from “Back To The Future II”, including the original pair of Nike MAGs worn in the film.  Small ceramic replicas of the MAG, as well as lapel pins (which will be available at select Nike locations) were distributed at the theater.
Finally, to conclude the event, a pair of the Nike MAG signed by Michael J. Fox himself was put up for live auction, ultimately going for $37,500.
The Nike MAG is now available to the public through auction on eBay, with all proceeds going to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
