The re-launching of the Ewing Athletics footwear brand back on August 5th left the sneaker world in a frenzy. For a day that marked the birth of Patrick Ewing, one of basketball’s all-time greats, the brand also announced the return of the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi in multiple colorways.
As rumors have continued to swirl over the past few weeks about a release date and availability, we now know that Kith NYC will be one of the select few retailers to receive the signature model that will not make its way to larger stores like Foot Locker.
For the first drop of the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi collection, we will see both the White/Blue and Red/Black colorways. The white version will feature full leather upper with New York Knick-inspired accents, while the red version will feature a soft suede upper in red with hits of black and white. Both models with include a classic reversible ankle strap, a reinforced heel, signature branding with the words ” Patrick Ewing”, “Ewing”, and his jersey number “33” stitched throughout, and come complete with a Ewing Athletics Hangtag and Keychain. And absolutely nothing beats out the original sneaker box!
