Extra Butter and adidas have joined forces to celebrate India’s hosting of the Cricket World Cup. Drawing from cricket’s rich sporting heritage, the collaboration has resulted in a limited edition SC Premiere.
Cricket, a sport known for its elegance and grace, has transcended the boundaries of the playing field to influence luxury fashion and sophisticated style. Extra Butter, in tandem with their “Cableknit” private label cut & sew collection, has brought this inspiration to life.
What makes the “Cableknit 2.0” an interesting pair is that it features hidden elements that connect the shoe to India. This includes the adidas name in Hindi on the upper and the years India won the Cricket World Cup. Using a clean White upper, the base will have intricate designs. Red lands on the insoles with the years 1983, 2007, and 2011, a nod to their championships on the right pair, while the left has a special Extra Butter stamp.
