While we are only five days away from the release of the “Cheech & Chong” Nike SB Dunk high, here’s a collaborative Nike SB Dunk high that will be a little more difficult to get a hold of. The Museum of Contemporary Art has teamed up with Nike SB to create an “Art in the Streets” Exhibition. Moreover, Geoff McFetridge’s original artwork is used as inspiration for the creation of 24 unique pairs of Nike SB Dunk highs nicknamed the “Papers.” The collection of dunks will be on display at the MOCA’s retail space until they are auctioned off on May 26th of this year, starting at 1pm. Not only is each pair a piece of art, it now becomes a piece of history as well. Good luck to all those who plan on joining the bidding war.
