The NMD S1 was released in 2021 and throughout the last couple of years we have seen various color options. Furthermore, collaborations have dropped including pairs from Pharrell, Philllllthy, and Rimowa. In 2023, Hamcus, a Chinese label will connect with the brand to release their own NMD S1.
Hamcus was founded in 2013 and is a clothing brand with apparel inspired by science fiction films, industrial design and technology.
This adidas NMD S1 by Hamcus comes dressed in shades of Tan, Brown, and Black. Constructed with the usual knitted upper and a sock-like collar. Next, we have branding on the heel pull tabs with a bungee lacing system. ‘The Brand With The Three Stripes’ is written on the heels with a small pull tab on the tongues. Other details include a thick gel sole with exaggerated traction teeth on the outsole. Each pair will come with special packaging.
You can expect the Hamcus x adidas NMD S1 to release exclusively on Hamcus online on May 19th and possibly on the same day via adidas in Asia. The retail price is 1,599 Yuan, which comes out to be about $230 USD. Below, you can check out more photos for a closer look.
