adidas and Hello Kitty are collaborating in Fall 2024 to release a new collection. After showcasing the Gazelle Indoor, the brand will debut the Hello Kitty x Adistar Cushion. This pair, amongst others, will celebrate Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary and will debut in October.
Having a similar theme as the Gazelle, this adidas Adistar Cushion features a Footwear White, Wonder Quartz, and Core Black color scheme. The shoes were originally released in 2005 as running shoes, but nowadays, they are intended for lifestyle wear. Utilizing White across the base, you can see Hello Kitty’s face repeated under the mesh. Multiple bows run across the panels and heels. Each shoe has 25 bows, with the total number equaling 50 for the Anniversary. Next, we have Cream TPU overlays and an adiPRENE+ midsole. Other details include Hello Kitty branding on the tongues and a special Gold 50th Anniversary logo on the insoles.
