Jeremy Scott’s partnership with adidas has truly changed the sneaker game, with his crazy kicks seen on the feet of everyone from ballplayers like Iman Shumpert to rappers like A$AP Rocky, and his style having influenced many a designer. Most of his creations have been on more casual-type sneakers (save for his adidas Originals Streetball), but today, we bring you a look at something unlike anything we’ve seen before: the Jeremy Scott x adidas Rose 3.5.
Featuring adidas superstar (no Shell Toes) Derrick Rose’s most recent signature shoe, the Rose 3.5, J Scott uses a bizarre “hip-hop angel” print – with angels holding things like huge dollar signs and boom boxes, instead of harps and bow-and-arrows – on an all-white upper. Three gold stripes on the heel and outsole add to the look, giving this shoe a very unique vibe. Set for a very limited release on July 6th at select adidas retailers like Oneness, it will be interesting to see how well these do.
