Earlier in the year, Joe Freshgoods launched the ‘No Emotions are Emotions’ New Balance 992 collaboration. For his next project, he will connect with Converse.
Specifically, the two will release a unique iteration of the Converse Chuck 70 and the Converse Pro Leather. Furthermore, the pair features canvas across the upper that has tie-dye across the tongue and panels. As well, it resembles the patchwork designs and t-shirts that he sold throughout the years. We also have White laces and metal eyelets while Red foxing wraps the entire shoes. Lastly, a vintage White adorns the toe and midsole.
Using t-shirt-like jersey material, Joe stitches together his history with a patchwork collage of designs from different eras. Vibrant tie-dye, bold lettering, and airbrushed graphics converge and showcase the eclectic style mix he’s brought to his work. It’s a story of his past—and a statement of how far he’s come.
He puts a ‘70s spin on the Pro Leather, carrying on the silhouette’s legacy of soulful style that started in 1976. On this JFG edition, disco vibes and smooth finesse come alive with a luxe combo of suede, velvet, and embroidered floral details. Corduroy patches on the heel and a purple glitter outsole complete the funky throwback look.
Launching alongside the Chuck 70s will be matching apparel along with co-branding t-shirts and pants.
