A little history about this particular sneaker: The Jordan 6 Rings incorporates selected features from each shoe that Michael Jordan wore while he won the Championship rings for the Chicago Bulls. A hybrid sneaker of sorts, the lacelock and heel loop are from the Jordan VI, a huarache-style inner sock from the Jordan VII and a fuzzy tongue logo and VELCRO® brand fastener from the Jordan VIII. The midsole, a full-length Phylon™ unit with Zoom Air™ in the heel and forefoot, was inspired by the Jordan XIII. The entire upper silhouette gets its design from the Jordan XI while the “TWO3” script on the tongue and metal lace loops on top are taken from the Jordan XII.
The latest release by Jordan Brand will be brand new Jordan 6 Rings colorway exclusively in grade school sizes. Featuring a White mesh base with Black patent leather overlay finished with Red accents throughout. The Jordan 6 Rings GS “Legion Red” will be available at select Jordan Brand accounts on January 18th like FootLocker. Let us know what you think of the latest colorway.
