Coming soon, NBA jerseys will start to show advertisements. While there seems to be a debate on the use of ads on jerseys, some brands will be a nice fit. Reports are now spreading that during the 2017-18 NBA Season, Michael Jordan’s franchise team, the Charlotte Hornets will have the Jumpman logo placed on their jerseys.
Darren Rovell who is a very solid source for NBA news sent out a Tweet stating that Adam Silver, the NBA commissioner has said it is likely the Charlotte Hornets will have the Jordan Brand logo. As you may know, Nike will be taking over the endorsements on jerseys, but the Hornets will be the only team to replace the Swoosh for the iconic Jumpman.
We can definitely see more people wearing and becoming fans of the Hornets due to the Jumpman being placed on the jersey. At that, we will more than likely see more Hornets inspired releases. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
