Carmelo Anthony burst onto the scene in the 2002-2003 college basketball season, leading Syracuse to the National Championship after averaging 22.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. After being named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and a Second Team All-American Melo declared himself eligible for the 2003 NBA Draft, where he was chosen 3rd overall by the Denver Nuggets.
This “Syracuse” Melo M8 is a tribute to Anthony’s accomplishments while a member of the Orange. With an orange Flywire and white patent leather upper alongside navy accents, these would be a perfect fit in Madison Square Garden, too.
