For 2023, Jordan Brand will introduce a few new hybrid shoes that will combine previous signature models into one. One of those is the Jordan Stadium 90. However, the brand will also launch the Jordan MVP, which pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s first three championships and his first three-peat.
The model combines elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7, and 8, which were worn by Michael Jordan during his first three-peat from 1991-1993. He would capture those championships against the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Phoenix Suns.
This Jordan MVP comes dressed in a White, Cardinal Red, Vivid Orange, and Black color combination which borrows the OG ‘Cardinal’ Air Jordan 7 color scheme.
Utilizing White leather on the upper with perforations. Next, shades of Red and Orange accents run throughout. But the main highlight of the shoes is the elements used to represent the aforementioned signature shoes, including the tongues, TPU paint strokes, midsole, and the translucent outsole. Nike Air branding lands on the heel with a Jumpman placed on the lateral ankle. Other details include a White and Red sole with an Orange Jumpman.
Below, you can check out more photos of the Jordan MVP ‘Cardinal’ for a closer look. A release will take place later this year at select retailers and Nike.com in men’s, grade school, preschool, and toddler sizing. The retail price is $165.
