Jordan Brand expands on their Air Max line with a new model known as the Jordan Point Lane. The model combines elements from past classic Air Jordan models but is named after where Michael Jordan lived at 2700 Point Lane when he played for the Chicago Bulls.
As you can see, the pair is a hybrid of past releases. First, we have the Air Jordan 11 tongue strip and ballistic nylon on the base, the Nike Air on the heel comes from the Air Jordan 3, and the nubuck overlays and midsole is borrowed from the Air Jordan 6. One of the first color options comes in the classic ‘Infrared’ colorway and has a translucent outsole.
Check out official images of the Jordan Point Lane ‘Infrared’ below that will give you a closer look. Although a release date is currently not available, they will launch soon at select retailers and Nike.com.
