Jordan Brand has unveiled the Jordan Super Fly 5 that Blake Griffin will wear during the 2016-17 NBA Season.
Blake Griffin’s high-flying game is the source of inspiration for the new Jordan Super.Fly 5. With Griffin as the muse, Jordan designers created a shoe with a versatile build — combining a lightweight upper, inner sleeve and forefoot Nike Zoom Air — ensuring lightweight responsiveness and ultimate lockdown.
Jordan Brand invited English artist James Roper to draw inspiration from the Jordan Super.Fly 5 in his artwork. Motivated by various kinds of art forms like cartoon, baroque sculpture, and fashion, James combined the explosive playing style of Griffin and the positive impact of ZOOM to create the artistic illustrations of the Jordan Super.Fly 5.
The Jordan Super.Fly 5 will be available exclusively in Greater China beginning June 30, followed by a global release on August 1. The shoe will launch in the below three color ways for the suggested retail price of $150.
