While we have seen the Air Jordan 2 release with upgraded materials like the BIN pair, we have yet to see an AJ2 or better yet any model release with quilted leather. It looks like it wasn’t Jordan Brand’s initial idea, but Don C.
Don C, who owns the clothing brand Just Don has also linked up with Jordan Brand in the past. The two had a special charity auction paring the Air Jordan 1 and cap for a BHM pack known as “Just Jordan”.
The uppers on the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 use a quilted leather that is also placed on the insole. Just Don branding is on the inside of the tongue and again on the insole.
