Julian Victory LaMarr Gaines know as Juwop, short for Ju Working on Projects is a sneaker customizer who is releasing his own Nike ‘Game Worn’ Collection.
Juwop is known for his work customizing Air Force 1s, but this collection will feature two 80s models, the Nike Sky Force from 1982 and the Nike Air Vortex from 1985. The Sky Force features a Black and White theme while the Air Vortex comes in Tan. The two also come with an icy outsole with Juwop’s ‘Working on Projects’ logo.
The Juwop x Nike collaboration includes a four-day summer camp on Chicago’s South Side with a series of programming in art, writing and more for more than 40 teenaged participants. In addition a pop-up event at Chicago boutique Notre and awarding 500 “Th-oughts Scholarships” to kids across the city where they can connect 1:1 with teachers and mentors who can feed their creative curiosity.
Juwop x Nike Sky Force + Air Vortex Release Date
