Kith and Puma have joined forces to unveil the latest performance model, the Puma Tsugi Shinsei. “Tsugi”, which translates to “Next” in Japanese, takes sensibilities and functionalities from classic Japanese design and ushers them into a contemporary space.
The design features a lightweight knit sock upper with a futuristic shield vamp that sits atop a rippled midsole. Three colorways of the Puma Tsugi will be released – a black pair, a triple white pair, and a very limited Kithstrike edition. The Kithstrike is limited to 150 pairs worldwide and utilizes a color scheme inspired by vintage aviator jackets, featuring an olive upper with a vibrant orange midsole unit. In addition, they will also be accompanied by custom packaging. As well, Kith and Puma have collaborated on a limited run of 50 Kith Treats cereal boxes which will release tomorrow, April 12th at Kith Brooklyn. Inside each box is a ticket that guarantees customers the opportunity to purchase this rare colorway on Friday April 14th at our SoHo or Brooklyn shops. There will also be a very limited online release on Friday at an undisclosed time.Â
All three colorways of the Puma Tsugi release this Friday. The Kithstrike version will be available at Kith SoHo, Kith Brooklyn, and Kith.com. Retail price for the Kithstrike release is $120 while the Black and White pairs will cost you $110.
