Many of us tuned in to watch the 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest earlier this NBA season. After everything was said and done, the final two competitors were Nate Robinson (2006 Slam Dunk Champion) and Dwight Howard (Defending Champion). Nate whipped out a bright green colorway of the Nike Foamposite Lites, soon dubbed the Kryptonates. Here’s a photo of a custom box for the very symbolic Kryptonates. It’s a well-designed gold chest featuring the Kryptonate symbol on the inside, along with plenty of kryptonite surrounding the sneakers. For sneakers this sick, Superman would probably risk his life to get a chance at these.
