It appears Nike is paying tribute to once upon a time Los Angeles Lakers point guard Derek Fisher with this inspired Air Max Tempo.
In 2004, Fisher wore the Nike Air Max Tempo against the San Antonio Spurs making a buzzer beater in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. A historical moment that any fan will remember and enjoy talking about.
Purple wraps the mudguard, toe box, and ends at the heel but is also on the outsole and sole. Hints of yellow and orange are also on the sole, within the air unit, stitching and tabs. White lands on the uppers and midsole.
A release date is not known just yet but we feel they will drop late 2014 or early 2015.
