Newly available at Hanon are two colorways of Arthur Ashe’s signature kicks from Le Coq Sportif.
Arthur Ashe was the first black tennis player to win the US open. Self taught, growing up in a poor part of Virginia, he went on to win 72 titles including the US Open in 1968 and Wimbledon in 1975. He retired in 1980 and devoted the remainder of his life to helping others before he sadly passed away at the age of 49.
These manifestations of the Arthur Ashe feature soft premium leather uppers with animal leather accents on the heel tab and sat upon an off white rubber cup sole unit.
