In a recent collaboration, Leaders 1354, one of Chicago’s finest boutiques, teamed up with Nike to produce a special “friends and family” colorway of the Nike Huarache ’08. Leaders 1354 attempted to give the Nike Basketball product a clean, sleek, and high end look by using the element of Mercury as their inspiration. This pair features a full metallic silver upper accented by a black inner lining and an icey sole. In order to make the inspiration behind this pair obvious, Nike has included LDRS and 1354 on the insole as it would be seen on the periodic table. Unfortunately, only 24 pairs of the Leaders 1354 x Nike Huarache ’08 were produced and they were all given away last night to friends and family.
