Reebok and French luxury fashion house Maison Margiela revealed a brand new shoe on the runway today for Paris Couture Week. The collaboration combines an iconic style from each brand; Reebok’s legendary Instapump Fury sneaker and the Margiela Tabi silhouette.
Envisioned as a statement shoe for a new era, the design is a unique blend, bringing together key elements of each style’s signatures to create a wholly new concept that simultaneously pays homage to each brand’s heritage, including Reebok’s Instapump technology and Maison Margiela’s Tabi split toe.
Shown in heeled and flat high-top silhouettes, the flat sole is a design echoing the Margiela Retro Fit, and the heeled is an interpretation of the Instapump Fury sole. The six colorways include solid black and solid white, as well as yellow, black and red, and white, blue and red, which celebrate Reebok’s OG colorways. The shoes feature logos from both brands – Reebok’s Vector embroidered on the heel and Maison Margiela in a white stitch on the upper back.
