Converse continues its partnership with premium Italian knit-wear company Missoni with the release of the Missoni x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 ‘Hiker’.
Inspired by the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 and classic hiking shoes, the hi-top sneaker’s Missoni multicolor, zig-zag wool upper reflects the breathtaking mountains of Ladakh, which attracted a number of rebellious spirits in the 1970s. Also featuring suede detailing and two-tone cotton lace, the shoes were first featured on the catwalk during Missoni’s men’s fashion show in Milan on January 16, 2016.
The Missoni x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70 Hiker will release in two colorways of Slate Black, Olive and Moroccan Blue on November 4th, 2016. They will be available at select Converse retailers including online at Converse.com.
