The 1574 has a new outsole reminiscent of another New Balance running icon: the smooth riding 1500. Look for equally stunning aesthetic treatments like sonically fused uppers, embossed full grain leather and reflective structural mesh. High frequency and pressure are applied to precisely fuse the panels of the upper. The resulting seam is airtight, watertight and nearly invisible. Stylishly simple as well as revolutionary: Sonic assembly requires about half the upper material and reduces carbon footprint.
The New Balance 1574 debuts for men in Spring 2011 at Finish Line with Leather retailing at $85 (Grey, Black) and Suede/Mesh at $95 (Grey, Black).
