New Balance is pay tribute to the past by rereleasing the new ‘Legacy of Grey’ Pack which consists of the New Balance 574. This shade is inspired by the original 990 and 1300JP.
In 1982, the New Balance 990 changed the footwear industry by introducing the first $100 running silhouette. That style, offered in grey suede, was a move away from the bright neons and pops of color that dominated the running industry. It changed the industry impression of grey suede and became a color synonymous with New Balance.
For those that are interested in purchasing the New Balance 574 Legacy of Grey Pack, they are scheduled to release at select New Balance retailers including online at NewBalance.com on March 15th.
