The 997 is a classic model from New Balance that was originally released in 1991. The shoes are known for using NB’s ENCAP and C-CAP cushioning for an all-around comfortably model. For 2023, the brand will bring the model back with some upgrades and will be known as the 997R.
We now have a first look at the New Balance 997R, which resembles the original release but comes with a few tweaks. Utilizing the brand’s signature Grey shades, the shoes are constructed with pebbled leather, mesh, and pigskin suede. Standing out is the ’N’ branding on the panels that’s is slightly overlayed by the mudguard and a new sole. Finishing the look is a Cream hue across the midsole.
