Not long ago, Teddy Santis, who is the founder of the lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore, was named the Creative Director for New Balance Made in USA. Since then, we have seen a number of drops that are more appealing to sneakerheads, causing some hype. For the next drop, he will take the 998 and add it to the Made in USA collection to celebrate the model’s 30th Anniversary.
This New Balance 998 features White mesh on the base with Grey hairy suede on the overlays and tongues. Next, Navy lands on the leather ’N’ logos, upper eyelets, ’NB’ embroidered on the heels, and suede underlays. Other details include White leather on the heel tabs, ABZORB cushioning, and a Black rubber outsole.
