Japanese fashion designer Nigo, who created A Bathing Ape and Human Made and is currently the artistic creative director for Kenzo, will connect with Nike to launch a line of products in 2024.
Nigo has worked with adidas over the past 20 years but will move on to Nike in 2024. When Nigo was part of Bape, he created the Bape Sta, a shoe that strongly resembled the Air Force 1. The model launched in multiple colorways, including a Marvel collaboration. The brand was founded in 1993, and the company was sold in 2011 to I.T Group for roughly 2.8 million. In 2013, Nigo would officially leave Bape.
Currently, it isn’t known what will come with the Nigo x Nike sneaker collaboration, but more than likely, it will contain footwear and possibly apparel. Expect a release to take some time in 2024. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
