The Nike Air Alpha Force 88 first landed on the scene in 1988 and designed by none other than Bruce Kilgore. After a long hiatus, Nike Sportswear decided to bring the shoes back in the iconic ‘Chicago’ color blocking. Now we have a look at what’s in store for the future, and the brand will expand on its simple color blocking.
As of late, the shoes have gained popularity due to photos circulating of Michael Jordan wearing the model in January 1988 during a game against the New York Knicks.
This Nike Air Alpha Force 88 comes dressed in a White, Neutral Grey, Black, and Tech Grey color combination, which resembles the OG White/Tech Grey pair. Constructed with textured leather on the upper with perforations, while leather drapes the tongues and Swoosh logos. Mesh covers the collars, with Black across the strap, and the classic ‘Air Force’ logo on the tongues. Finishing the look is Black on the outsole with herringbone traction.
You can expect the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 ‘White Neutral Grey’ to release at select retailers and Nike.com later this year. The retail price is $140. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you. For now, scroll below for additional photos, giving your a closer look.
