Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant” Returning February 2024

2024 will see the return of various classic Foamposite releases. One of those is the Nike Air Foamposite “Eggplant”, a shoe that first dropped 14 years ago.

The Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant” became a classic shoe, although not an original release. First released in 2009, and shortly after, in 2010, we saw a second release. The last time the shoes landed at retailers was in 2017, and this was to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Foamposite. Only 7 years later, Nike Sportswear will bring back the ‘Eggplant’ colorway for Spring 2024.

First reported by Kicks Finder on Twitter, we can also confirm that the shoes will return once again in 2024.

This classic Nike Air Foamposite One comes dressed in a Black and Varsity Purple color combination. We were able to see the sample, and can confirm the shoes will come with nubuck overlays and not switch things up to leather. Everything else is spot on, including a Foamposite shell upper dressed in Varsity Purple with an iridescent-like finish. In addition, Black mesh covers the tongue with the same shade of the nubuck eyestays, and carbon fiber shank plate. Other details include Penny Hardaway’s ‘1 Cent’ logo on the heels and an icy translucent outsole.

Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant 2024 Release Date

You can expect the Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant” to return to select retailers and Nike.com on February 14th, 2024. The retail price is $240. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you. For now, check out images of the older release below.
