Nike Air Foamposite One 'Galaxy' - Updated Release Info

With everybody losing their minds over the upcoming “Galaxy” Air Foamposite Ones, prepare yourself for hectic release come All-Star Weekend.

The kicks will be exclusive to NikeStore and 21 Mercer come release day. The extremely limited kicks will NOT be hitting any other brick and mortar locations. So, if you’re not in the NYC area, be ready at your computer.

For whatever reason, Nike’s release calendar states that the kicks drop on February 24 while the press release states February 23. So, as soon as the exact release date becomes clear, we’ll be sure to let you know.

  1. DTLR is only getting 120 pairs of each shoe from the Galaxy Pack and Nike is dictating which DTLR stores get them. They’ll be split between 2 stores in the DMV area which are only 10 damn minutes apart. No other DTLR will get any. Nike might as well just hand the shoes straight to the resellers at this point. Just completely pissing in the face of sneakerheads and telling us it’s raining.

  2. SMH, well Nike does it again. How you going only to release the shoe that limited,then at that release only in New York. I thought that Penny played and made to shoe famous in a Orlando Magic Jersey and isn’t the All Star Weekend in Orlando the weekend of the release j/s.

Just to let you know I don’t know how true the thing that the NYC is only getting them I’m here in Europe and I have a store here that i go to that is actually getting them and will sell for retail 200Euro about the same as the US so if you know someone in europe you might want to contact them and see if there near any stores that are getting them. They won’t sell out as fast as they do in the US, give you an example i got the concords a week after they came out in a 9.5 so that should tell you a little bit.

  11. Flat out, Nike can suck a dick for tht shit because their are sneakerheads out side of NYC and the DMV, Im from Chicago and we have jus as many sneaker heads here as they do . Im not going to stop wearing nike but for this shit they should kill their selves!!!!!!!

    1. @duke i agree with you totally exactly what i’m saying there coming out here in europe, and i can think back when the Ray 13s came out they said only the HofH Boston and what that store in miami solefly or something like that was the only ones getting them but when release day came around several places got them

  14. Yo I saw that tweet everyone just needs to chill. @nikestore only has info on nike retailers. nikestore and 21 mercer are the only nike-owned places getting them. @nikestore tweets the response of “we only have access to nike store catalogs” like 1,000 times a day.

  16. From what we were told at DTLR there are only 10,000 pairs and Nike is determining where they will go. The drop in NYC on the 23rd is just for those spots. They release nationally on the 24th but will be very hard to find.
