2023 appears to be a comeback year for the Nike Air Foamposite One. Recently, we learned that the ‘Red Metallic’ pair would return, and now, we have details on one of the rarest Penny Hardaway PEs that will debut in 2023.
Worn by Penny Hardaway in 1997, this Nike Air Foamposite One comes in the Home colorway, consisting of White, Metallic Silver, Black, Cobalt Bliss, and Racer Blue color combination. Given to Penny at a time when Player Exclusives were not as frequently seen, there is an infamous photo of Penny on the cover of Pro Basketball magazine wearing the pair (see below).
Highlighted with a White Foamposite shell, Black appears on the leather upper, tongue, carbon fiber shank plate, and heel. Accents of Cobalt Bliss and Racer Blue fill in the branding and insoles. Lastly, a translucent outsole rounds out the design.
Nike Air Foamposite One Penny PE White Black Release Details
