We have to wonder what makes a shoe produced as a sample but never releasing to the public? We are sure there are many reasons but one we can’t think of on this pair. A sample of the Nike Air Foamposite pro recently hit eBay that for obvious reasons obtained the ‘USA’ nickname.
It appears Nike produced a couple sample pairs of this Air Foamposite Pro for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The production date on the sample tag matches up with the time frame. The ‘USA’ nickname comes from the heel where the brand has it stitched in red. The uppers use almost a burgundy shade with black detailing. The sole seemed to be transparent at one time but due to age has yellowed.
The USA Nike Foamposite Pro USA sample was on eBay, but it looks like someone submitted an offer and won. Check out more images below.
