Nike will also be releasing other models worn by NBA players during their Olympic stint. Another classic that will be available for purchase once again in 2016 is the Nike Air Force 180 ‘Olympic’.
Made popular by Charles Barkley who laced this Nike Air Force 180 up during his impressive run with the 1992 Dream Team Squad. Barkley was the leading scorer on the team who also played on the 1996 Olympic Team and finished his career with a perfect 16-0 record.
Like mentioned, the shoes launched back in 1992 but again released in 2012 and the 2016 model will come exactly like the two before it. Featuring obsidian blue on the heel, tongue and midsole while the base is done in a white leather. Other details include red hits, gold gradients through the midsole and filling in the tongue and heel branding.
