Using a used pair kicks from his own closet, sneaker customizer KLR Whales transformed a pair of forgotten classics into a dope pair of one of a kind customs. Deciding to go with the ‘Pigeon’ concept, KLR Whales gets major props not only for his restoration work but his customization skills as well.
From the jump, the first thing you may notice is that KLR Whales shoe of choice for this latest project is indeed the Nike Air Force III. In recreating the upper, he applies the infamous “Pigeon” motif throughout with the pigeon making an appearance towards the heel of the right shoe. If you take an even closer look at the pics after the jump, you’ll also notice the dope flannel inner lining, that was originally part of the shoe.
